Like a race, I’ve visualized this day for the past four years. Camp. I don’t have the entrepreneurial make up, so it’s delayed the process for quite some time. In those four years, my wife will tell you – I’ve spent countless hours working on new businesses, only to back out at the last minute wasting all the time and money because I convinced myself it would never work.
It’s scary to put yourself out there.
One thing I learned when starting a business – it needs to be fueled by passion. Not by greed, fame or power. The passion is what overrides those long work days and non-existent paychecks. When the business aligns with your skills AND passion, well then you have set yourself up for success – which is my hope.
Tomorrow is the first day of camp, a new journey – can’t wait to share it with you all.
